Mmmmm…frosty wonderful! We could say that deadline knitting at the holidays is stressfull…oh we could…but with such a dreamy halo of yarn…my task is a luxury! Behold the inner glow and welcome warmth of Classic Elite Fresco…that soft breath of angora is everything…
and I know this yarn only gets better…
I’ve been occupied with baby gifts and I’ve made a couple of baby earflap hats from my Cabled Chullo pattern, no good pictures yet … for a sneak-peak pop over and see my Ravelry projects page.
And now for a treat, Out of Narnia, by Su Blackwell

how strange, you chose a Scottish Gallery and when I went to look at it, one of my favourite painters was there – John Bellany. not to mention John Byrne too. And John Byrne’s ex partner is Tilda Swinton who was the White Witch in the Film of the Chronicles of Narnia. How’s that for full circle!

I love the combo of those colors-pale blueon white. How soothing… I’m right there with you on the deadline knitting. I’m enjoying it, but a little anxious that it turns out the way I want it too! Good luck with yours. I’m sure it’ll be gorgeous! I have several skeins of fresco that I’m thinking of making some fingerless mitts with. It’s a great yarn at a great weight 🙂

Ohhh pretty, we love the Narnia books. I visited the link and fell in love with the “paper dress” installation. Wouldn’t that be divine to have in your home!
