    I’m not a birder, but I think that’s a Great Skua – commonly called a Bonxie in Shetland. Could be wrong of course but it looks a bit big in the body for a seagull, and the white wing feathers flashing…….

    good eye Anne! it is indeed an Bonxie, loads of them in Unst, but just a few following our fishing expedition.

    Beautiful, Beautiful Beautiful – Love the one of the house with the window I have always loved shots like that. Actually it is quite similar to the little windows at your house. They just make me feel peaceful and lovely.
