Reminds me… I was in Maine for the summer a couple of years ago, on one of our walks we came across a meadow with a hedge that looked similar to the one in your last photo. We walked towards it, interested to see what was behind, but as we approached it, we heard the sound of heavy hoofs hitting the ground. Needless to say we ran as fast as we could. It may have been something small, but it sure as hell sounded like a giant moose… 🙂

Ivana– yikes a stampeding moose would be a terrifying thing! There was one wandering around Camden a few years ago, liked to hang out in the Reny’s parking lot. It was well behaved if a little lost.

Boy, I miss Maine, and your lovely pics aren’t helping! 😉 I didn’t get to go to the Fiber Frolic & I’m still kicking myself. I should have tried harder. Ah, well. Next year!
