i am new to fairisle can you tell me the yarn ,the colors and the name of the motifs??
oh and the bee and lamb in the back ground…are they pillows or project bags??
The bee is a vintage embroidered pillow. The project bag is Ysolda’s – so cute isn’t it? Her brother is the artist. I got mine long long ago, but I remember they were still available just before Christmas.

Well this is a work in progress. The yarn is Jamieson’s DK. Not sure of the colors off the top of my head. I was making up the motifs as I went…I WILL write up the pattern once it becomes something!
You were working on that at Rhinebeck. I have a picture of it too on my instagram and blog 🙂 Beautiful.
oh iso want to make a fair isle blanket maybe baby size?? I would love to use your design from this sample if you had it….I have also thought of using the design from fromt of vogue cowl??
