The most spectacular day I had on Shetland — in a boat, north of Muckle Flugga — awesome.

WowZer! With the wide open space it inspires one huge in-breath!
We didn’t get right up to the lighthouse,like you Anne. Today we saw the former Muckle Flugga lighthouse keepers boat, which is in Aith now, we were told it was very hard to handle. We went on a boat today and had a great time, even fishing. I caught one tiny fish with help, 11 yr old Ben caught the most, Ysolda was a close second and caught the largest one, and then proceeded to gut most of them! We’re eating them tonight for dinner!
I am SO jealous!
